Terms of Use

Last updated: June 20, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RouteWizard mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal or business route‑planning use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

2. Subscriptions and purchases

RouteWizard offers an optional "RouteWizard Pro" upgrade:

3. AI features — accuracy and your responsibility

RouteWizard uses AI and third‑party mapping services to read addresses and suggest routes. These results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying addresses and routes, and for driving safely and lawfully. Do not rely on the app for real‑time navigation or operate it while driving. The app is a planning aid, not a turn‑by‑turn navigation or safety system.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including reverse‑engineering it, using it to violate any law, or overloading the third‑party services it relies on.

5. Third‑party services

The app relies on third‑party services (including Anthropic, OpenStreetMap/Photon, OSRM, CARTO, RevenueCat, and Apple). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms. If you supply your own AI provider key, you are responsible for any usage and charges under your provider account.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of routes or addresses.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, including missed appointments, fuel costs, or routing errors.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules.

10. Contact

To finalize before publishing: set your governing‑law jurisdiction, replace the contact email, and add your legal entity/name. Apple expects a Terms of Use (EULA) link in App Store Connect for apps with auto‑renewable subscriptions (or you may rely on Apple's standard EULA linked above).
